Fee math
Every swap pays a 1% LP fee, split in full by the preset chosen at launch. Clanker charges its 20% protocol fee on top, so swappers pay 1.2% in total.
Presets
| Recipient | Share of LP fee | Standard (of volume) | Buyback & burn (of volume) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agent treasury | 5% | 0.05% | 0.05% |
| Creator | 65% / 50% | 0.65% | 0.50% |
| Burn (bought back and burned) | — / 15% | — | 0.15% |
| Platform | 30% | 0.30% | 0.30% |
| Clanker protocol fee, on top | +20% | 0.20% | 0.20% |
The four recipient shares always sum to 100% of the LP fee. Clanker’s fee is not taken out of them; it is added to what the swapper pays.
Worked example
A coin trades $100,000 in a month.
volume $100,000
swappers pay (1.2%) $1,200
Clanker (on top) $200
LP fee (1%) $1,000
Agent 5% $50
Creator 65% $650
Platform 30% $300LP fee (1%) $1,000
Agent 5% $50
Creator 50% $500
Burn 15% $150 -> converted to the coin and burned
Platform 30% $300How fees move
- Fees accrue in Clanker’s LP locker (
ClankerLpLockerFeeConversion) and are claimable from the fee locker by each recipient. - For the burn share the locker converts fees into the coin on-chain; the BuybackBurner contract only burns what it receives.
- Fee collection is skipped during the first two minutes after launch (MEV block-delay module).
- The platform share funds infrastructure (inference, indexing, X API) and buys back and burns $BOOT.
